Elephant and Piggie are always a perennial storytime favorite. I was able to do this book with a long book about patience....and the kids GOT IT! (Or so I like to tell myself)

This book would be good for primary and lower-level intermediate students. This would be great to use to teach patience, as well as teaching about hypothesizing. The story is about how piggie has a birthday present for elephant, but he has to wait all day for it, and it's hard for him to wait. (

In this book Piggie tells the Elephant he has a surprise for him, but tells him he'll have to wait. This book shows the importance of being patient and waiting. This book is _targeted towards primary grade students. (

June 2019 - Waiting is not easy for Elephant and Piggie, but together the two friends are able to wait together and have a wonderful surprise!

March 2022 - Recommended by President Nathan Johnson at Stake Conference. Things are worth the wait. (
