The revolution is nigh, and the Angel of Mercy, Susan Mendes, is the one who will set it off. She’s been asked to give a broadcast across the entire Dalek empire, and the simple phrase “Death to the Daleks!” will get the enslaved population to rise up against the Daleks. Meanwhile, Alby is continuing his quest to find Susan, but she might be dead by the time he gets there if she’s been successful in starting the revolution. Even the Angel of Mercy has no recourse if the Daleks decide her usefulness has ended…

This is more of a so-so installment for me because it brought back characters from the first installment that I’d forgotten about (such as Tanlee, Alby’s boss in Earth Alliance security) and introduced aliens that I wasn’t sure I was supposed to remember. The voice work on said “new” aliens was very good, though! I liked the various effects and the sound design.

One of my favourite bits in this was the conversation between Susan, Kallendorf and the Daleks about human emotions. Daleks discussing emotions is an amusing thought.

There’s an intriguing element to the end of the story that has me wondering how it will be resolved in the last installment of this story arc. ( )
