That was kind of . . . traumatizing. I'm not entirely sure what I was expecting when I picked this up at the library.

And I *love* Alice retellings, but what the hell did I just read? ( )

Alice in Murderland is about a girls name Stella, who would have Alice inside of her. Stella and her family have a Tea Party every mouth and the Tea that they drink is so they can live and stay young. At one of their tea Parties Stella's mother said that her and her siblings had to killed each other and that the last one standing would be the head of the family and which Stella doesn’t want to do that but her brothers and sisters are already starting the fight but they didn’t know that Stella has Bloody Alice inside of her. So when they would try to attack her other side would just take over and would kill them in like a few minutes. But towards the end Stella and Alice make a deal that if Stella really needed Alice would come out and take over than Stella not be so scared of what happen. This book is a manga but I have an interest in it because it has somethings from Alice and Wonderland but it has guns, some blood but really it a turned version of Alice and Wonderland. This is my summary of my book.

My opinion is that this book was that they should have added more things related to Alice and Wonderland like they should have added more of the characters from Alice and Wonderland like the Mad Hatter, Queen of hearts, and Cheshire Cat but they already had The White Rabbit, Alice, and The jabberwocky. But really they also would have add the different area and the kingdoms that would have made it much better for me to read it. But really those are just things that would have made it better but by noticing the book does a timeline of different people stories in the book. I think that at the beginning they should add a set for each person to know what is going on so like a background story if you know what I mean. It is easier than most things is there is a background or something that could make it much better. Another thing is that when they introduce someone in it they should just normal than someone was just killed and is not breathing. So really this is just my opinion and there are people who might agree and some who won’t. ( )
