The characters were not likable. It was hard to get into when you could not relate to any of them. They seemed shallow and there was no real character development for a book that was this long. Disappointing. I wanted to like it. ( )

Ellen is a Pulitzer prize journalist with an uncertain marriage, forgotten faith, haunting memories of her hometown who must return home when her father dies. She must begin the quest to make peace with people she left behind years ago.

Fiction Christian Romance. Ellen is brought to grips with her feelings for her husband, and family. When her much loved father dies in Petosky, Michigan, Ellen must leave Florida and her job as a journalist to attend to things. She has to make peace with her past feelings and go on to a more mature outlood and the future that God has wrought for her.
