Deadman is kind of fun, but most of the characters are just not that exciting. Constantine is an ass, but he's still more interesting than the others. I would suggest a lineup change for this title if it was going to continue (I'm not sure if it did or not after New 52). ( ) no reviews | add a review
Swamp Thing. Zatanna. Frankenstein. Madame Xanadu. Deadman. Black Orchid. Vampire Andrew Bennett. Nightmare Nurse. Once they were the Justice League Dark, defending Earth against supernatural threats. Now they are nowhere-and no when. To stop a force of evil that threatened to destroy all life, they unleashed a power that consumed their colleague John Constantine and scattered them to the edges of existence. Now they are stranded in a strange netherworld where time itself comes to die. Here, moments can last millennia, lifetimes come and go in the blink of an eye, and hungry gods and mad sorcerers alike scour the space-time continuum for every last scrap of power. To escape, every member of the League must journey deep within their own minds, confronting lost loves, different lives and paths untaken. Only then can they escape this eternal trap before time runs out... From the mind of comics legend J.M. DeMatteis and artists Andres Guinaldo and Tom Derenick comes Justice League Dark: Lost In Forever, a mind-expanding journey to a place-and time-beyond imagining! Also collects Justice League Dark Annual #2. No library descriptions found. |
