Curious George gets into trouble when left alone with a friend's kite.

Such a fun story. My mom read all the Curious George books to me and my brother growing up. Great for first graders to read on their own and for younger ages to be read to. ( )

I love this little monkey, and I like how the slow pace and linear series of indicative statements about what Curious George does and sees that make up this early work seem to convey the actual cognitive processes of a monkey, minus the fight or flight and mating instincts of course. ( )

George is left home alone and becomes curious. He spots a house he wants to explore. He jumps out his window and goes to the house. It is filled with bunnies. Curious George goes fishing and a kid has a kite. The monkey watches the kite for him, but begins to play with it. The kite begins to lift him off the ground and in to the sky and the man in the yellow hat saves him. George returns the kite to his friend and is rewarded with a bunny!

This story is solely for entertainment, but I still love it anyway. ( )
