Substitute middle-school history teacher Rush Revere takes his students back in time to explore the night "The Star-Spangled Banner" was written. Another great entry in this series. This time, Rush Revere, his talking, time-traveling horse Liberty, the his "Crew" of middle school students visit Washington DC. They also time travel to Philadelphia to visit James Madison as he works on the US Constitution; they attend the Constitutional Convention to visit with George Mason; and they watch Francis Scott Key write our National Anthem aboard a British ship. Again, this book is devoid of politics, so anyone shying away from having their kids (or themselves) read this series based on Rush's ideology need not be concerned. no reviews | add a review
