Flopsy Flips Rabbit is a private investigator that goes by the name Tuff Fluff. Bluebell, a large, blue, stuffed teddy bear, enlists his aid to help her discover the reason why her friend Duckie, a terrycloth duck, can no longer speak. Tuff Fluff uncovers the fact that Duckie's brain is missing and the trio embark on a mission to solve the mystery of who nabbed Duckie's brain. ( )

This very strange book, written like a film-noir detective story with stuffed animals, tells the story of the poor little stuffed Duck who inexplicably loses his brain in a book while reading aloud to his blue bear friend and the little beanie babies. While the plot doesn't really make much sense, the illustrations are very cute and fun, and the message of the book is really good. The book is about the power of reading aloud and how it can bring people (or stuffed animals) together, whether they be stuffed with stuffing or beans. ( )

Tuff Fluff is a Private Eye who has been asked to solve the case of Duckie's missing brain. Duckie used to be able to tell the best stories that everyone like to listen to but now all he can do is quack! Will Tuff Fluff be able to find out where Duckie's brain is or will Los Attic be deprived of his stories forever. ( )

This book is cute and clever. I am not really sure how this would fit into a lesson, maybe problem solving. ( )
