Inventors at Work: Interviews with 16 Notable American Inventors

Substance: An interesting book of interviews. It was published in 1988, so some of the comments are a bit dated, but the stories behind some of our current technology are fascinating. Also interesting - each of the inventors had a different idea of what's the best environment and training for inventors, and a different outlook on their own activities (although there were "clusters" of responses, there was no single consensus).
Style: Recommended bedside reading: "one chapter before lights out" sort of thing. ( )
