Fun to read aloud, yes. Cute plot, with a relevant theme, yes. Creative art, yes. But I think the best part was the neighbor's pet, Antoinette... is she a dog, or a cat? No, remember these are frogs... so, she's a fly! ( )

This was good fun, because of the rhyming. Enjoyable. Also made me hungry for bread! ( )

A fun and entertaining book! The art is stunning with mixed media (hand-created images, photographed and displayed for a 3d effect). Willems introduces Nanette, who is tasked by their mother to fetch a baguette. We follow her into town as she heads for the bakers. The whole experience is observed and written in rhyme, making it, so fun to read aloud. This was one of Mo Willems fun and poetic books! ( )
