But I think the best part was the neighbor's pet, Antoinette... is she a dog, or a cat? No, remember these are frogs... so, she's a A densely rhyming tale of a little frog called Nanette and a day she won't soon forget - she gets to get the baguette herself! But when she eats it on the way home (it is warm and wonderful and smells/tastes so good, after all), will Mom be upset? (Spoiler alert: not at all! "Let's reset." Mom is no stranger to eating a baguette on the way home...) A fun and entertaining book! The art is stunning with mixed media (hand-created images, photographed and displayed for a 3d effect). Willems introduces Nanette, who is tasked by their mother to fetch a baguette. We follow her into town as she heads for the bakers. The whole experience is observed and written in rhyme, making it, so fun to read aloud. This was one of Mo Willems fun and poetic books! no reviews | add a review
