Will Groovy Joe be the next Pete the Cat? Possibly. "Love my doggy ice cream" is just about as catchy as "I love my white shoes." My daughter and nephew (both toddlers) wanted to read it over and over again. Dinosaurs, ice cream, sharing, a guitar - these are all things I can get behind. I haven't tried it yet at story time, but I think it will be fun. (

Groovy Joe has ice cream and knows it's better share especially when big, hungry dinosaurs pop in. This is fun! Everybody has a good time and they all learn to share. Teaches without being preachy. The young'uns will love it. (
