In the most loved monster, all the children of mamma monster wonder who she loves the most. The mother tells them that they each have very special things about them. The children, so moved by this, do nice things for their mama while she is asleep.

This book is great for children with siblings close in age, or for kids who do not know what is so special about themselves. It takes a unique approach by using characteristics of monsters, yet still feels relatable to humans.

The illustrations are wonderful. They have so much detail that makes it a perfect book to be read aloud to a child who cannot yet read, or is learning to read.

Long for storytime, good for large families. Each little monster asks "who do you love most?". Mama says she loves them all but tells each why they are unique. (
