No current Talk conversations about this book. 58561 I have to admit, I had very low expectations for this book, so was pleasantly surprised when it was better than I thought. The story was very different than any I've read before, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Both Kate and Landon were interesting characters and I enjoyed their stories. The legal aspect was interesting and enlightening. I really loved the romance. Sweet and slow, just how I like it. There were a couple of minor inconsistencies with the characters that bugged me a bit, but like I said, they were very minor. Also, the legelese was pretty intense. I had a hard time understanding what on earth the characters were talking about for a good portion of the book. It's clear Dylan is very knowledgeable on this subject, but for the laymen readers like me, it would have been nice if she had simplified things a little. All in all, I did enjoy this book, and am interested in reading the next one. Kate Sullivan works as an attorney and has landed a big case against a local Big Pharma medical company who allegedly manufactured a drug that caused brain tumors. When she receives threats and is attacked, Landon James, a former Army Ranger is tasked with the job of protecting her. How far will the medical company go and can Landon keep Kate safe before it's too late? I look forward to reading more in this series that is intriguing, clean and inspiring. no reviews | add a review
