I'm running through this series awfully quickly (I've read four in a week), but she has two other series, so I have plenty of enjoyment ahead. ( ) Book 2 of the series. After searching for a missing teen and the men behind the Private Free Teen Drinking parties - a Gruesome discovery hidden in underground tunnel rooms rocks Jackman & Evans team. The mystery unfolded and the murderous group were uncovered. It is one that is unlikely to soon been forgotten - gruesome for sure but great story. When Detective Rowan Jackman gets a call early one morning that a body has been found on a beach he could never imagine where the case would lead. Missing teenagers, a cold case of a kidnapped child, and who is behind the drink parties. A very interesting mystery, some good characters and another excellent read from the author. Complex plot involving disappearing young girls and illicit drinking clubs in the Lincolnshire fens. DI Jackman manages to solve the many faceted puzzles with the aid of his team, despite interference from some senior officers. Few of the locations in the plot are real, but the landscape is well described and plays an important role in the plot. The two lead characters, Jackman and Evans have an interesting relationship and it will be interesting to see how it develops in future books. no reviews | add a review
