Nietsche y Platón son, para mí, los mejores escritores de entre los grandes filósofos, y eso los hace tremendamente atractivos al margen de que uno comparta o no sus ideas. En el caso del alemán, hay muchas ideas en estas obras, un auténtico torrente de ellas, y con muchas estoy de acuerdo, pero no con muchas otras. Así, nos pongamos como nos pongamos, este autor es claramente machista y racista (por mucho que se burle del antisemitismo de su época), y sus obsesivos y furibundos ataques contra el cristianismo no resisten muchas veces el análisis objetivo, sino que se dirigen a una versión muy personal del cristianismo. Pero también hay que reconocer que su lectura nos pone en la obligación de cuestionarnos nuestros principios morales más profundos. Nadie como él para hacernos oler toda la mierda que va incluida en el "pack" moral occidental, derivado del juedocristianismo nos guste o no. Lo que pasa es que Nietsche es muy bueno criticando, pero no tan bueno dando soluciones. La propuesta alternativa de dejarnos dominar por una raza superior, nunca bien definida, no me parece la mejor de las ideas, y los intentos históricos de llevarla a la práctica, con todos los matices que queramos, han sido horrorosos. Por decirlo claramente: el nazismo ha reducido a Nietsche a un bufón filosófico, alguien que nos divierte y nos cuestiona a la vez, pero a quien sabemos que no podemos tomar demasiado en serio, por muy atractivo que sea. Que lo es. ( )
