A fisherman gets involved with the French resistance.

It desperately wants to be Casablanca, and it does a pretty good imitation. Meanwhile, Lauren Bacall.

While both actors keep all their clothes on and scarcely touch, the "All You Have to Do is Whistle" scene is the sexiest in film making history. Note the juxtaposition--I am not sure you can call it a collaboration--between Hemingway, who wrote the novel, and Faulkner, who adapted it to the screen. ( )
