Andrew is a great guy and very interested in Callum. Once their initial misunderstanding is cleared up, he dives in and has a great time getting to know Callum and the three kids better. Not even the grandparents’ interference can stop him, but he respects that Callum has to be careful.
Fear of losing the children who mean everything to him drives Callum, but he cannot completely ignore his rapidly developing feelings for Andrew. The fact that the children (except the oldest, Jess) adore Andrew helps him make up his mind, and he is soon ready to fight for his happiness.
If you like sweet stories about second chances in life, if men dealing with children is your thing, and if you’re looking for a sweet, fairy tale like read that is heavy on the characters’ emotions, then you might like this short story.
