James Brown had it right. No truer words have ever been said. Lauren Blakely lays out the full package with Most Likely to Score. When it comes to seduction this author never fumbles. Not only do Jillian and Jones score in the romance department, but they land a touchdown in the most memorable characters category as well. Jillian is a woman with her feet planted firmly on the ground, but her heart resides in the clouds. A secret crush, a difficult career and a playboy client don't make her life any easier. Jones has his career on the line and his heart at risk. Can he play the most important game of his life without losing it all? The Game is on and the winning point is at hand. Who will be Most Likely to Score? Such a fun read! Lauren Blakely writes cocky alpha males with a heart of gold like nobody's business--and Jones is no exception! I loved reading this story from both his and Jillian's POVs, watching each of them struggle with their feelings for each other, weighing whether or not the reasons for them being apart were enough to keep them that way. (Spoiler alert--they're not, thank goodness!) The behind-the-scenes look at making a hot-guy-with-pets calendar was a fun touch, and definitely had me wishing it wasn't fictional so I could get my own copy. I'd be hard pressed to say whether I enjoyed the scenes with Jones and his dog Cletus (OMG! Cletus!), Jones and his family, or jones and Jillian more--okay, Jones and Jillian totally win out, but trust me, it's a narrow margin because those other two categories score high on the sigh-meter. Seriously, this book was pretty unputdownable from start to finish, because of Jones. And Jillian. And Cletus. I was mildly disappointed with Jones when he has his freak-out moment, because it seemed a little bit lame, but since it led to a fabulous, ebook-highlight-worthy declaration, I quickly forgave him. I'm not sure how I missed Jones's teammate Cooper's story ( Most Valuable Playboy ), but you'd better believe it's on my TBR now. Fingers crossed that there are more books to come for the rest of their single teammates--go, Renegades! ;) Rating: 4 1/2 stars / A- I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. no reviews | add a review

I enjoyed this book. I liked Jillian and Jones. Both feel the same way but instead of telling the other they think the other is not interested. When their interest comes out, then they are hard-pressed to put them back in hiding. It was fun to watch them though. This is a perfect book for summer reading--fun, fast, and flirty. ( )
