Just plain silly.

In this extremely cute graphic novel Fritz the elf tries to get Santa to give him a promotion. Santa refuses and Fritz tries to prove his worth by casting a spell on a nutcracker to destroy the North Pole compound. Of course the spell grows out of control and infects the teddy bears creating tons of ninja teddy bears. The evil ninja teddy bears are the cutest villains ever and I hope some marketing genius somewhere turns them into a toy. Santa's cuss words are also extremely humorous. The only flaw is that the ending came a little too abruptly with no consequences for Fritz's actions. Although this is a book for children, older readers will enjoy it simply for it's silliness. ( )

This book is made of awesome. Samurai Santa fighting evil ninja teddy bears . . . what's not to love? This is great for older kids and adults with a slightly twisted sense of humor; there are plenty of sly little details in the artwork are fun to catch, as well. ( )

Funny twist on a traditional story. A very fast read. ( )

This manga/comic was funny. It is the story of Santa, who trained with Samurai in Japan. He returned to the North Pole and had an elf with an attitude problem. The elf used his magic to animate a ninja nutcracker, which then in turn infected a bunch of teddy bears (when they thought they destroyed the nutcracker). Santa kicks some butt when the elf repents of his ways and fetches Santa's swords for him. The Santa buffs out and slices up all the evil ninja teddies and everything goes back to normal.

It's a simple story, but something new. And fun to read on Christmas. ( )

Hilarious story of a buff Santa and how he must save his factory from the ravages of a rogue ninja nutcracker and its teddy bear ninja minions.

Short and fun, teen and tween boys will be rolling on the floor. ( )
