When I purchased these books for my children, they cost 60p per story in W H Smiths. Buying them for my grandchildren, I had to keep a list and buy them second hand from Amazon. Most cost three times the price of the earlier versions, although some sellers have the nerve to ask for a lot more. I still haven't finished collecting the set. I wish they were still in print. (
