Not my favorite from this author, childhood friends coming together at a friend’s wedding and then deciding to marry on a spur of the moment decision. Too many things about this story frustrated me, the constant miscommunications and misunderstandings just took away from the story. There were realistic aspects, like them growing as a married couple and letting go of the baggage from past relationships but I didn’t like the insta love aspect of it, their relationship needed to be developed more. Overall this was just an okay read for me. ( ) In Macomber’s romance novel, Maggie Kingsbury and Glen Lambert had been close friends in high school only to go their separate ways after graduation. Now they are walking down the aisle as maid of honor and best man in one of their mutual friend’s wedding. With heartaches and hardships in the past, they decide to marry just one day later hoping that a marriage between friends will be the kind that lasts forever. Wonderful story of choices, regrets and second chances. no reviews | add a review

But past disappointments and unhealed emotions soon start to wreak havoc with their vows. Glenn knew his heart was bruised when he asked Maggie to marry him.
