This book describes two children who go on their own mission to catch a mermaid. In the end, the realize that the mermaid is trying to save them from sharks in the ocean so they do not want to catch her anymore. This book was excellently illustrated but would be difficult to follow without the words on the pages. The author also put key describing words in fun fonts and colors to make them pop. This also tells the reader to read these words in a different tone to make the story more clear. ( )
