Nobody worked for anything. Jude and Cardan didn’t scam a single person? I’m disappointed. I kept waiting for that twist to come. The one we saw in the other two books. But it never came. The things I loved about the first two books weren’t here. It felt like it was just a bunch of things thrown into a book to make the fans happy. There was enough happening to keep me reading but just barely. i don’t even know what to say at this point. i’m so disappointed and satisfied all at the same time. stan my sapphic queens Vivi and Heather. P.S. - “She is my mate. And my spy,” I said too quietly. “And she is the High Lady of the Night Court.” ”She is my wife.” Cardan says, his voice carrying over the crowd. “The rightful High Queen of Elfhame.” = MY ETERNAL SUFFERINGGGGG WE LOVE SIMPING MEN WHO PUT BADASS WOMEN IN POSITIONS OF POWER no reviews | add a review

From Jude at a constant battle with the Faerie realm, to owning it and the story ending with her, Cardan and her family in the mortal world is just satisfying. I love politics and the battle for status, but this book certainly portrays Jude and Cardans trust in each other. Better than standard romance are two lovers against the world and their found family.
- Am desparetly rooting for Taryn and Ghost hehe. (I love the Roach, Bomb and Heather and Vivi too)
Also Jude dying was scary lol ( )
