This book was very lovely. I have never even herd of this series before. But this first volume captured my heart. I would say this series reminded me a lot of both sailor moon but also buffy. I read this volume so fast and loved the both the story and the characters. I love the use of surprise in this issues of the book. I will def. be checking out Vol. 2 shortly. I def. think my favorite power is both fire and also will power and I really loved all girls but I think will is my favorite. I thought the drawing was so lovely and was really impressed by it. ( )

A fun kids graphic novel. Reading to see if would be a fit for a 3rd grader. Typical story about friendship and working together. Art was nice. The girls learning to use their powers was the best part of the story. ( )

Whyyyy is the Asian character (and her family) a greenish yellow?? The rest of the characters all have realistic human skin tones.
