Gratuitous violence and gore abound in this fast paced shooter. However, there is a surprisingly compelling storyline to back up the intense action. This macabre world of the future is fascinating unto itself as it is populated by corpse machines, robotic cherubs, and other delightfully gothic touches (such as gothic cathedral space ships) that add an almost religous/ritualistic dark charm to this otherwise depraved world.
