After I had read the first couple of pages, I already knew Borges was one of the finest authors on my bookshelf. I was not disappointed thereafter. One story more fantastic then the other, Borges portraits a universe of metaphors. An impossible city of the ancient, an imagined planet with its own history and an endless library of every possible book there is and impossible book there could be - all these worlds are carefully crafted with only few words, but with a deeper meaning than most books that have three-digit pages or even more. If you like philosophy and fantastic literature, then you will love Borges. ( ) no reviews | add a review
