This is a cute rhyming story about two children who visit a zoo for their own personal "safari". Each animal that is introduced has at least one piece of information about it in a nice rhyming format. This could be a cute read for young children, a jump off point (introduction) when learning about animals in a classroom or to read before a visit to the zoo. There is just enough information to peak the interest of children. The illustrations are also well done and add to the story. A good book for a school, classroom, public or family library.
