This book was a gift to read before seeing the Passion Play, in Oberammergau, Germany this year. Even though the trip was canceled I still read the book. It was quite informative and insightful. The breakdown of the last words of Christ were interesting, along with the historical aspects of their meaning and the times that the crucifixion occurred. ( )
