This is a highly accessible depiction of Ancient South and Central American mythology. I hesitate to fully endorse the text because of the lack in representation of smaller civilizations in the south American region.

This will be an excellent resource to provide background information to a unit on South and Central American authors in a Middle or High school English class. History classes may also use this as alternative text to relay the background to studying the continent of South America. ( )
