Read this as a serialized offering from the publisher. It's great fun, set in a Victorian -style future where women on Earth are once more under male control. Escape to another world where dominance is matched with respect outside of the bedroom allows our heroine to blossom. ( )

This is an interesting series. You get a mix of dystopia and aliens with some spanking and domly types tossed in. Add in some conspiracy and intrigue and you've got a great story.

I do think that Allik sometimes was too wrapped up in his own head to see what was going on with Victoria. And as much as I like Victoria, she was a little too obstinate for her own good sometimes. She was too wrapped up in her own POV to figure out how other people felt sometimes and was definitely too impulsive.

I do like the series, and I'm really looking forward to finding out more about it. I'd love to get Taryn and Lucy's story next, because I'm pretty sure it's going to be a good one. ( )
