Don't miss the back matter. ( ) This book is all about friendship and accepting differences, which I really like. It's about a blind horse named Charlie who meets a goat named Jack on a farm. They become friends when Jack realizes he can help Charlie get around easily. I think 1st graders would enjoy this story and learn about seeing things from a different perspective. Plus, I always enjoy books with farm animals! Probably because I live on a farm and love animals Charlie, a blind horse arrives at a new farm. There he meets a goat named Jack who doesn't like anyone being near him. They become friends when Jack realizes he can help Charlie move around the ranch with ease. This book would be good for a 1st grade classroom. It can be used to show students a new point of view on being blind. no reviews | add a review
