I was drawn to the story because rather than a mother helping the children prepare in the kitchen, it is a father. The story is a simple list of the things you do while making pizza. Each of the phrases in the story are simple "We" phrase. For example "We mix, " "We wit." It also has an occasional rhyme. This book aides children in the understanding of how long a process can be. There are many steps and it takes a long time to make a pizza. It also shows that after hard work, it is nice to enjoy. The illustrations are drawn. If I were to read this book outloud I would read it to preschoolers or kindergarten, oler ages may become bored because of how simple it is. no reviews | add a review
