I almost didn't want to like this book because of its popularity...but I really did like it. Within the first chapter, I was hooked and wanted to find out what happened next. I pulled this book out at a red light - that's how much I was hooked. It was comical, mysterious, and thrilling, and I really enjoyed it. Mostly, it was a clean read that was nice to stumble upon.

What I didn't like? The double standard. She gets made at her ex for hiring a babysitter to watch her kids in his mere 48 hours with them, but then she literally has a live-in nanny that watches them basically full time and I don't see much "screen time" with her actually being with her own kids instead of constantly passing them off to someone else. “It’s a widely known fact that most moms are ready to kill someone by eight thirty A.M. on any given morning.

This was such a fun little book. A very fast read, fast paced and a great mystery. I found myself giggling, shaking my head and just all around loving the plot. Finlay is a fun character, full of spunk but also beat down a bit by life. Her stumbling into a new line of work is absolutely hilarious. I loved her partner in crime, Vero, and all their hilarious conversations. I liked her sorting her love life and working through her home dramas. This was just such a fun read and I'm absolutely looking forward to the next one! (

So much fun. Shopaholic meets the suburbs- a well-meaning beleaguered heroine wins despite real, easy-to-imagine odds of single, broke parenting. Over the top silliness and contrived characters pushing envelopes of cash at Panera. Ridiculous. Comical and so fun. (

This was such a fun book to read. Finn's voice is so entertaining and the plot was so fun. I wanted to keep reading to see how they would get out of each situation and the ending was great. (

Funny and twisty book about a single mom who keeps finding herself in the middle of murders. I tried to guess how the story was going to turn out but it kept throwing me for a loop. Great read (
