I found all the readings to be a faithful interpretation to the original book and traditional Christian views. A special little nugget I especially enjoyed is that it is a chapter-by-chapter reading – meaning that the day-one devotion is inspired by a chapter-one quote from the classic story, day two by a quote from chapter two, etc. How sweet is that? There is a presentation page on the front for gifting—which is always a plus in my book. The devotions are short, easy to read, and inspiring. And the illustrations are adorable and nostalgic.
