To help her parents, she has to spend every afternoon with her grumpy Uncle Hendrick and his even grumpier dog. Worst of all, Kit and her best friend, Ruthie, are no longer speaking to each other after a fight caused by Kit's pride.
"Kit's Surprise" is a very sweet and uplifting story about family and friends coming together at Christmastime. Valerie Tripp's writing is wonderful, as usual. I'd recommend this book for girls ages 8-12. ( )
