Listen... I started this book because I didn't think it could be real. And if it was, I thought it would be funny... but no, it's umm... yeah. It's a thing. It's a genre. I always thought when people said "Monster Romance," they meant, you know, like a shapeshifter. A "monster" that had a human form... ummm, yeah, they.. they don't. It's... "interesting". Can’t stop picturing Beauty and the Beast here 🫣🤣 So.. I did finish it, but I cannot in good conscience rate it. It’s not BAD - I'm just gonna say, it's not the genre for me. ♡◜✧˖°*:・゚✧ 🌶️🔥: 5/5 Synopsis: Violet is a young woman struggling to make ends meet. She finds a well paying entry level job at Morning Glory. In this fantasy world, a certain bodily fluid produced by Minotaur bulls (yup, you know the one) is used in pharmaceuticals. Her job is to milk these bulls to produced the needed... emissions. One of the bulls who comes in for milking sessions takes a liking to her and soon they start dating. Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars This book is very very spicy (is anyone surprised?) but I had a great time reading it. I found Violet to be a very relatable character. She is struggling, like most millennials, to make ends meet. She just wants to pay her student loans and her rent. She is worried that if this job doesn't work out she'll have to move home and she really doesn't want to do that. I would have loved to know a bit more about Violet but I think as a reader I knew enough to sympathize with her and to root for her. The hero is wealthy and educated and treats Violet really well. He makes sure that she doesn't feel pressured to do anything physically before she is ready because he is aware there might be some potential for an imbalance of power in the relationship. I enjoyed reading in this world and would love to read other books set in this world though at this time my library didn't have any of the rest of this series. Some parts of this book really reminded me of the movie Pretty Woman though Violet is always careful throughout the pages to remind us that she works for a pharmaceutical company and her work is medical not the type Julia Robert's character was engaging in in the movie I mentioned. Even if there is a lot of crossover in the means, the ends are different. Violet's work is primarily shown with the hero though we do see her occasionally working with other clients as well. The hero being Violet's primary on page client gave this more of a romance feel than I was expecting and I really ended up enjoying this. I don't think this book will appeal to every reader but if it is something you think you'd enjoy I would recommend it. I had an overall good time with this book and would read others like it. When I first came across this book and decided to read it, I honestly thought what had I gotten myself into? Okay, okay, I like monster/human romances. Some of them are really interesting while others seemed more missing something within the confines of the story. Most of this is due to the stories being standalone. It may work for some and may not work for others. Anyway, this book was interesting. Violet, our female lead, does not want to go back home to her parents. She is riddled with debt and she is just trying to find the right job that would help fix that. This is where Morning Glory Milking Farm comes in. Oh, this is not some normal, run-of-the-mill milking farm. Oh no! This is where Minotaurs came to be milked of their semen, especially during their mating season. Their semen is also used in the medication of some sort. oO Once Violet becomes a "Pro" of milking these Minotaurs, she finds herself drawn to one named Rouke and he with her. Their romance is so damn sweet and wonderful that I actually found myself in envy of Violet. Seriously, I want a Minotaur to rock my world too, you know. So, where do we sign up for this milking farm? But honestly, this one really surprised me and I quite enjoyed the storyline and romance. It was not totally porn without a plot. There is actually a plot and you will find yourself immersed in the world where there is a town of creatures unlike us living side by side with others. Definitely recommend and highly speak of telling you to pick this one up. You will enjoy the story until the very end. :D no reviews | add a review

Violet is a typical, down-on-her-luck millennial: mid-twenties, over-educated and drowning in debt, on the verge of moving into her parents' basement. When a lifeline appears in the form of a very unconventional job in neighboring Cambric Creek, she has no choice but to grab at it with both hands. Morning Glory Farm offers full-time hours, full benefits, and generous pay with no experience needed . . . there's only one catch. The clientele is Grade A certified prime beef, with the manly, meaty endowments to match. Hands-on work with minotaurs isn't something Violet ever considered as a career option, but she's determined to turn the opportunity into a reversal of fortune. When a stern, deep-voiced client begins to specially request her for his sessions at the farm, maintaining her professionalism and keeping him out of her dreams is easier said than done. Violet is resolved to make a dent in her student loans and afford name-brand orange juice, and a one-sided crush on an out-of-her-league minotaur is not a part of her plan-unless her feelings aren't so one-sided after all.
