I received this from Library Thing to read and review. Jimmy loves the water. He dreams about being a sailor, sailing the oceans in a pirate ship, like the ones he has read about in his books. One day, he and his friend Carl find a wooden palette, and decide to build a raft and sail away. However, as can be expected, neither boy had really carefully thought through this adventure. This story provides an account of that adventure and its consequences. This small book has a great lesson contained within and is provided to youngsters in a very well done, easily understandable manner. The tory is not too long, so youngsters will not be bored. The pictures are colorful and enhance the reading experience. I am sure most youngsters will enjoy this story and will definitely come away with the lesson it contains. ( )
