I will say, Brandon Sanderson should have just made 3 large books instead of all the novellas :). would have saved time. I really enjoyed this book though I think it should have been 2.4, to be honest. I really was floored with how flushed out this universe has become and I can't wait for the next book. ( ) Winter 2020 (January); Sanderson Syspean Challenge I continue to love everything about the Cytonic series, and this was a lovely end cap the month after [b:Cytonic|57571215|Cytonic (Skyward, #3)|Brandon Sanderson|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1622045953l/57571215._SX50_.jpg|67851209] came out, filling us in on the third installment of what all was happening with the rest of our intrepid Skyward Flight while Spensa is not with them. This one is from the pov of Jorgen, and I have been dying for this book to get to my hands since the moment I heard he was going to be our third novella narrator. I loved this book so much. I love Jorgen's Captain-Boy, Stick-in-the-mud, can't face my grief, must marshall on for the cause, Shtick. I love his friendship with FM, and how she won't take any of his crap, but she's entirely and unswervingly loyal the whole time. I love everything forever about The Slugs. I can't wait for the next piece of this series to come out. no reviews | add a review

Listen to Jorgen's story along with Cytonic. With the government of Detritus in disarray because of Superiority treachery, and with Spensa still away on her mission in the Nowhere, Jorgen must work together with the alien Alanik to pick up the pieces. They intercept a strange transmission from the planet Evershore and its Kitsen inhabitants, who say they have some of Jorgen’s people and want to return them—but can the Kitsen be trusted? And can Jorgen learn to master his increasingly erratic cytonic powers before they spiral out of control and destroy all hope of forming an alliance against the Superiority?
