This book had be literally laughing out loud. I went in blind and it was definitely not what I was expecting. The House has its own personality. 10/10 would recommend. ( )

I have no idea why I waited so long to read this book. It was fantastic, featuring a very different take on haunted house stories that tips the genre on its side. Very imaginative and well-crafted story inhabited with unique characters. It’s a very quick read and entirely worthwhile. ( )

I have to be honest - with a title like that, I just had to read this one. It sounded funny (maybe a bit silly) with a haunted house. I thought I was getting a spooky, creepy read with some humor. I didn't find any humor.

Instead, I'm not sure what this was. A weird house, for sure, but I'm not sure it was all that creepy. It was shocking, but the book never really set up a vibe to be spooky. The creepiest thing was the kid - who felt determined to terrorize his mom.

I'm disappointed. I wanted to love it. Instead, I felt let down because I thought this would be one type of book that it wasn't. ( )

He had me in the beginning. It was captivating honestly. The mom, Sabrina is a housewife in a haunted house ok? RELATABLE! I was basically all in. However, once I got to the end when all the nonsense started occurring it was over for me. I couldn’t push through fast enough. I felt like he was slapping the keyboard or even threw two books together? Unclear? Didn’t love it. No thank you. ( )
