DNF, giving up at 10% because 1) slow plot, 2) tells rather than shows actions and emotions, and 3) worldbuilding does not always track, which is troubling because there's not that much so far. Even when I was a more forgiving reader, I probably wouldn't have gotten much further into this book. ( )
