You might think that polished racehorse at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance is a triumph of restoration. Not compared to these it isn't. The quality of the work involved in these restorations is terrifying and intimidating. A superb book. ( ) Excellent read about the details as quirks involved in aircraft restoration, the problems faced and different options faced by Museum standards, flying condition compromises and indoors/outdoors exhibit. Also several interesting comments on the human part of the restoration process. The photos are very good, many from the aircraft on the NASM collection. no reviews | add a review
