No Matter What You Say, Furi-san is Scary! Vol. 4 (2022)

Contrary to the title, Furi-san is no longer scary to anyone, and without that edge the series has devolved into a sweet little slice of life romance that is simply biding its time until the inevitable happens.

It's still nice, but the magic is gone, and it's in danger of becoming too ordinary.

It doesn't help that the resolution of last volume's cliffhanger was a complete dud, fizzling out with no effect whatsoever. And this one ends with simple warm fuzzies rather than any sort of drama or excitement. ( )
