Once, magic ran rampant throughout the countries of Chaldus and Yndor. But a brutal war between them turned the tide. To free the world from the dark forces of destruction, the mages performed a ritual that rid the world of magic-a ritual that could be undone…Chronicles of the Unbinding Dark Waters Through the torture and murder of former Chaldean ministers, a Yndrian assassin has learned the spell that will plunge the world back into chaos. But he is being pursued by a man driven by something other than the threat of the Unbinding. Brandt Karrelian’s motive is far more personal: revenge. A lifelong friend lies crippled by the killer’s hand. And Brandt’s fury will not be sated until everything it touches is destroyed, including the secrets of his own notorious past…and the assassin who has made him remember every one of them. The characters are deep, complex and edgy and the interplay alone can keep you reading the story. Again-- this is NOT a Coming of Age Fantasy. All the characters are adults, with adult vicissitudes and motives. It's all Politics and Vendetta.
Unfortunately, at the end of this story-- you will never see the rest. Volume Three Never happened. ( )
