Backstory:
Author, Reece Walker has decided that he wants to write his own version of the Loch Ness monster so he goes to Scotland in the hopes of trying to see if the monster actually exists. Though what he finds is not what he expects and he will have to delve deep into his creativity to produce something worthy of a story for Nessie.
Thoughts:
The story has a cool concept as it is a story written within a story. Other than that I was not impressed by the character, Reece as he was a whiner throughout most of the story and I was tired of him complaining. The information about Loch Ness is interesting in the prologue of the book as that gives out some detailed info about the myth and I found that to be an entertaining read.
I just felt that this book could have been a whole lot better and the story that the character Reece creates is far more entertaining than the actual story of this book. The best I can give this book is three "Where is Nessie?" stars!
