( ) This is an easy and fun story about children arriving at a bus stop on a cold winter’s day. As they arrive one by one, each child busies herself or himself with interesting things as the wait for the bus’s arrival increases. The story kept me guessing and the ending, which is my favorite part, is wonderful! This book brought back memories of when I was at the bus stop waiting for the school bus to arrive! Reliving those memories was an unexpected experience and one that I deeply appreciate. The illustrations compliment the author’s writing style; the use of diversity, equity, and inclusion is a wonderful bonus! I give this book five stars.
