An interesting and entertaining translation of a French graphic novel in which an anthropomorphic brain appears as the guest star in a TV chat show to tell us all about itself, it’s functions, and how it operates.

Overall it works well and does an excellent job of introducing some complex ideas in a straightforward manner aided by some touches of humor and practical examples. In particular I found the chapters on memory, and language fascinating.

The only real downside was an over reliance on French cultural references which I didn’t get, but that’s a minor quibble and understandable given the source material. ( )
