Miss Maxwell's class is creating president projects for Presidents' Day, and Fergus and Zeke join in - but Zeke embraces the worst aspects of the presidential role, until Fergus puts his paw down: "You don't get to be president just because you say so. And you weren't acting like a president anyway. Presidents work hard and listen. They care about everyone's ideas." In the end, Fergus and Zeke's president project shows which pets each president had. Meanwhile, the students' projects - and their questions during the process - are creative and thoughtful as well. A great addition to the Fergus & Zeke series. ( ) no reviews | add a review

Fergus and Zeke love being the class pets in Miss Maxwell's room, and they do everything the students do. So when Miss Maxwell informs the class that Presidents' Day is approaching and they'll all be creating projects about the presidents, Fergus and Zeke get to work, too. Zeke tramsforms into George Mousington and nominates himself president of their cage. But when Zeke seems more interested in being in charge than in working on their project, Fergus gets frustrated. Will these two mice be able to agree on what makes a good president - and a good friend - in time to present their project with the rest of the class? --Jacket cover. No library descriptions found. |
