While a lot of this was about our heroes learning more about themselves and kicking Starlord in the ass about his whininess, most of it was about Rocket and his story and I would watch Rocket and Groot and their sidekicks all day long. There's a lot of found family here and learning how to cope with loss and how to face up to your fears and I found it a very enjoyable film.

Warnings though of animal experimentation. ( )

It's too long, and not everything in it works. But it's often surprisingly emotional for a James Gunn movie.

2023 movie #84. 2023. All the explosions, weird aliens and comic banter you expect but a more character driven story as we learn Rocket Raccoon's origin story. We enjoyed this very much. ( )
