The Story:

That old lady is crazy but Jax loved it so Auntie will read it as many times as necessary. Which is a lot. LOL ( )

This book does not really teach a lesson to students, however it could be utilized to help teach students how to make predictions about what might happen next, or to teach students pattern and rhyme. This book is all about imagination and creativity as the old lady swallows different animals. ( )

This book is great for students learning to read, teaching students sequencing, comic relief, and predicting lessons. Students begin to understand the flow of the book and begin making predictions based on the object before. Because this book is repetitive, students begin understanding and reading the words on the page. The sequencing lesson plays a role because the book is in order and the order never changes. This book is always a great choice because it is cute and funny for all ages. ( )
