Propaganda, an official fan club magazine subtitled the World Service Magazine, has been giving diehard fans the inside gen on U2 ever since the early 1980s. Packed with articles by the band, interviews with them by major music journalists and glorious photography by the likes of Anton Corbijn, Propaganda has appeared on a roughly bi-annual basis for almost twenty years. Early editions are now much sought-after collectors' items. Propaganda has previously been limited to fan club members, but now U2 are going public. This lavish, beautiful coffee-table book compiles the finest moments, wittiest essays, most candid interviews and beautiful photography from the magazine's twenty year existence and reproduces them in their original design and typography. It is no less than a first-hand documentary of the history of the biggest bands in the world.
